I have worn a lot of hats during my professional career, but above all else I am driven by trying to make the world a better place. In a time when the environmental and societal challenges the world is facing seem overwhelming, it is a necessity for industry leaders and supporters to come together to find solutions. I am passionate about leading the work to find solutions for key factors driving this change. I am passionate about making sure that when we are working to adapt innovation policies, that we are taking into consideration such aspects as inclusion, gender lens investing, and narrowing of the wealth gap. Innovation policies cannot be one size fits all, and need to be designed from the bottom-up, not the top-down.

Focus areas include:

Regional Innovation - where we see it as a necessity that we decentralize innovation so that our ability to tackle global issues has the ability to grow anywhere. We are currently working with pilot communities in Canada to create a Roadmap to Regional Innovation through building and fostering ecosystems for development. Cross border collaboration - where we are creating systemic vehicles for collaboration focused on knowledge sharing, policy making innovation, and education of impact investors and entrepreneurs.

Digital Equity and Tech Stewardship - where we recognize the crucial role that digital equity plays in inclusion and any collaborative effort to drive global change through innovation. Tech Stewardship serves as the umbrella term surrounding bending the arc of technology towards good, and we are involved in several initiatives that are driving this change.
